Ruey was employed at Buttrey Foods for 20 years at stores in Glendive, Miles City, Harlem and Glasgow. Gaffaney’s Office Supply was his employer for eight years in Glasgow. Glasgow has been our home since 1991. Ruey is now a Career Agent with Farm Bureau Financial Services, and was named 2003 Rookie of the Year. He enjoys working with Jr. High class at church, umpiring baseball and softball, mountain biking, fishing and hunting with Buster, our golden retriever.
Marla has worked a variety of secretarial jobs with each move, most recently at Glasgow High School for 10 years before "retiring" to assist Ruey with the Farm Bureau venture. Marla enjoys quilting, garment construction, watching sports; especially softball and baseball.
Both Janet and Greg attended two years at Dawson Community College where they graduated and excelled in softball and baseball. Check out the DCC athletics archives at www.dawson.cc.mt.us/ Janet met Blaine Hoppe at DCC and were married in August, 2000 at Mammoth Hot Springs. Both are employed in Yellowstone Park, Janet as Assistant Payroll Manager and Blaine is a 911 Dispatcher. They’re expecting their first child in January. Greg went on to pitch Division I baseball for Drexel University in Philadelphia until they disbanded their program, transferring to UNO-Omaha (Division II) for his final year of baseball. Greg is currently working and finishing his Business Degree in Omaha.
