Curt Richey, 64 of Bismarck, ND passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his home.

Curtis ‘Curt’ Dale Richey was born on April 26, 1956 in Glendive, Montana son of Robert & Gayle Richey. He was raised in Glendive and attended Dawson County High School where he was the drummer in a band and earned the nickname ‘Scratch’.

Curt married Laurie Hegel on September 24, 1977. From this union Denna & Joey were born. Throughout his lifetime Curt had many jobs ranging from bail bondsman to arcade manager, cab driver to convenience store manager, pawn shop manager to bank courier, and brick layer to appliance salesman. Work was never work for Curt, it was always a great place to meet people and socialize.

Curt loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved watching his kids and grandkids in all their extra-curricular activities.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents Robert ‘Bob’ Richey & Gayle Richey Schaffel and his brother Ronald ‘Ron’ Richey.

Curt is survived by his sons Denna (Joyelle) Richey and Joey Richey, granddaughter Jordyn Richey and grandson Cole Richey all of Bismarck, ND and sister Debra (Lowell) Buesing of Angleton, TX.
